'Simon,' and 'The Lunatic at Large.' Carrington is a private detective or inquiry agent and the stories within this novel were 'told by Mr Carrington himself over a smoking-room fire.' In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. The spine is faded and somewhat worn and there are a few marks to the rear board. Spots to the endpapers. Institutional stamp to the paste downs, bookseller's label to the rear paste down. Minor edge wear to the dust wrapper, resulting in a few closed tears. Only a few light marks to the wraps, with heavier spots to the reverse. Spine is a little sunned. Internally, firmly bound.
